...and it was the worst of times.
Last night was the strangest night of league for me. The first 2 games, I didn't feel comfortable, I wasn't executing my shot well, scores were reflecting it. I shot 224 and 168.
The 3rd game, everything clicked. I buried the first ball, 9-pin. Pick up the spare, X's out for a 290. All buried except 1 light scrambler and a tripped 4 the first ball of the 10th. Feeling good, executing the shots probably better than I ever have in my life.
Get up first ball of the 4th and final game. 9-pin. Not this again. Whiff it. Nope, not that again, lol. After that, games 1&2 Rick are back, with a vengeance. I get only 3 strikes all game, and only pick up 1 spare of the 8 I leave. End up with a 122.
I've never self destructed that bad before, so embarassing. Especially when people are coming over congratulating you on a 290 and seeing that you have 40-something in the 5th frame. Oh well, its in the past now I guess.
