need some more adjustment ideas./question

ok..im in the process of gathering up all the adjustments i can do for wen my IDEAL line isnt there....for instance..move left/right forward/back slow ball down/speed it up different hand positions and so forth.

i got a question tho.


lets say i hold the ball at the at line 2
wen i git on the approach and prepare to go bowl.

wat wud happen if i held the ball up higher like around the 1st line?
and wat wud happen if i held the ball lower..like around the 3rd line

Like 1 would bring your backswing higher, therefor will cause you to gain speed. Line 3 will shorten your backswing, and let you slow your ball speed down.
