I know it is a polished ball and am assuming it is 4000 polished but wanted to find out for sure...couldn't find anything in my searches.

See below.
The first link shows it's a 1000 Abralon. The second shows it's polished.

If I am not mistaken I recall the Doom coverstock to be 1000 abralon Polished.

Hmm....I thought it was 2000 polished. You might want to ask Jeff Ussery for sure...

The "shelf talker" for it lists it as 4000+polish:

Thanks for the replies. My girlfriend has a doom and has been struggling w/ consistency. This is her first reactive ball and was going to suggest a surface change for the ball. She has medium/low speed and low revs. Usually play on Medium/Medium Heavy House conditions. Was thinking starting out at 2000 unpolished. Just wanted to make sure if she didn't like it I could get it back to OOB. Think this is a good place to start or should I try a different route?

try 2000 dull and she how she likes it, if not then go ahead and add polish to it.
