A first for me

i went practicing on Saturday with my wife and daughter and managed to pick up the 7-10 split.I was using my BWC and the 10 pin bounced out the back and clipped the 7 :D :D :D

Well Done. Wish I could say the same, after a bad first and second game last night I had the front 9 in league with my CP playing 16 to 1-2, 10 ball I ripped the rack apart and left a flush 7-10, everything went straight back and left that, no one knows how I did it including me, is kinda funny, needless to say almost hit the 7 in the air.:)

I left 6-4-7 sunday morning and shot for the 10 pin, slid the 6 between the 4-7 and tripped out the 7, I get lucky once in a while

ongrats on making the 7-10. that is something I have never accomplished. Funny thing though is, When I leave the 7-10 I shoot for the 10 and it never bounces out of the pit accross the lane towards the 7. When I leave a 10 pin, 8 out of 10 times I'll bounce the 10 loout of the back accross the lane.

I've seen one of my old college teamates cover the 7-10 a couple of times. When I asked him about it he told me that he always shot at the pin away from the ball return as the sideboard was usually a bit more solid causing the pin to bounce back harder. Anybody else heard of this before?

I always shot at the inside part of the 7 pin, I try to get a good piece of it and shoot it into the wood corner, at this house I make pins come out a lot, have hit the 10 twice on the 7-10 and rocked it but never made it yet.

I've actually been fortunate to make the 7-10 four times in all my years of bowling. Did it twice in Feb of 2000 at two different houses with in a week of each other; then again on 11/27/2002 & 8/31/2005. Have only made the big 4 (4-6-7-10) once in my life though.:cool:

Wow congrats on that mate.

I have had the 7 - 10 once before but when I was 17 and not even in a league.

My friend Mandy had it once, she didnt even look at the shot as she was hitting the 7 pin anyway, she only bowls 14mph with backup. We all cheered when it hit the 10 pin aswell but she didnt believe us. It was only for the fact we had it on video and we had to rewind it and replay it to her! :rolleyes:
