Took my sons bowling last night....

I recently up graded my 10 y.o. to a Venom,2 weeks ago. Boy has he got a handle on that ball his ave is 105. My 6 y.o. has a Razyr his ave is 85 (bumpers). We had to have them bowl out for league this week. The 10 y.o. rolled 177,163,150 for a 490 series. Follow thru is his sore spot so thats what we work on with him,this last set shows him dear ole' dad might know a lil' what he's talking aout. The 6 y.o. shot 125,120,134 for 379 series. I've been working with him on approach he stands at the line and does a step with his release and really doesn't need the bumpers anymore but will finish this season with them and move up next year. still has crossing his body issues but for the most part he does extremely well for his age. The local high school bowling coach is already drooling over them both and does give them coaching and even has come up when we go practice on sunday mornings.

Got to say it extremely gratifying seeing them become better bowlers...

its great to see them improve isnt it.....my 10yo daughter has been in the junior league for a couple of months now...they've moved her from the training lanes into the league when a team is short...her first time in a team and she rolled her highest game of 134 and high series 365....we were so proud of her..since then she constantly beats one of the team members who has been bowling for over a year
