Is it true that reactive balls less then 14 pounds have different cores? I cant see why and if so, why do they cost the same?:confused:

It gets down to core size and density.

That is correct most bowling balls below 14# have different cores.

Weight needs to be removed from the ball somehow. How do you think they make a 12# ball the same size as a 15# ball, but lighter?

yes they do, the filler between the core and the cover are different densities. My wife's 10# doom actually floats in the bucket when I take the oil out.
