I went bowling last night at Green Ridge Lanes (Maybe you could me with this one Bubba). From what I saw the lanes were very dry or the pattern was short. My problem was I could not adjust from playing the line I usually do. my ball was over hooking. I tried a cross lane approach that wasnt horrible but im not used to throwing it like that. My big question is... How can I adjust to oil patterns with only 1 ball. Thanks

Lefty, that shot you threw on at Green Ridge is bascially THS. They hook alot and it is not an easy house to play in when they are like that. Being you only have 1 ball and I think it is The Sauce, you will have more difficulty than not . To adjust I would start with a 6 board move on the approach to the right being you are left handed and try getting the ball out to the 5th board. If it is still too strong move you feet 2 boards at a time to the right till you find a better consistant area. You could also try playing deeper inside out if there was oil on the inside. But only having 1 ball and it beeing an aggressive ball at that is hard to score with on a dry pattern.

I had the same problem earlier in the week. I couldn't get lined up anywhere near where I usually throw. So I remembered one thing my driller told me, "Throw for your break point".
So I lined up on the approach at 35 and threw for the far range finder on the 10 board. I threw six in a row. THen I watched where the ball was crossing the arrows. to my surprise, I was throwing over 18. I never in my life thew that far inside.
A new experience for me on way dry boards.

While I agree with previous comments, I know comprehension of the written word can sometimes be difficult(O.K I ain't the sharpest knife around!) Try this link to see videos to go with the words:

There are several things that can work, the problem is know how to make the adjustments quick enough to score.
Move your first target is a good move when you can't seem to move inside and score. You can use range finders if they there.
With my Sauce I can typically play inside angle with ease. You have to keep your body/shoulder open to left side of the lanes...
Since the Sauce is your only ball try polishing it, will keep it from burning up on drier condition as fast, play straighter on heavier conditions and probably work better on most house conditions. (Mine is a beast polished.)

i think I will give that a shot.

I agree with Bubba. If moving your feet doesn't work, you should try a speed/rev adjustment. If you "cup" (flexed wrist, with turning your fingers to your body) you can uncup your wrist and concentrate on keeping your hand "behind" the ball on release and just let the lift you apply do the work without any extra turn on the ball. This should flatten the hook out somewhat to let you be more in control of the hook.
