Just shot my 4th 300 game with my new drilling on the Psycho. The sarge easter is working great! :D :D :D

Missed my 800 though. THats the score I really want.

Yea its working really well.

Makes me so much more relaxed on release. Even playing it to the edge.

My line last night was over 15 out to 2/3 and back in again. The thing was hitting like a train.

This is the first 300 ive had where a little luck wasnt helping me out, every single ball buried into the pocket.

Ive got my cherry vibe done now but am gonna leave the others normal finger tip in case of finding anymore oil where I will need the extra revs.

Been bowling for 7 years now and all of my 300's have come in the last 2 years using hammer's :)

I thought you had more revs' with the sarge eastern grip.

No its less revs with the new grip.

I have too much lift with alot of the modern balls and have to bowl really low spec balls at my normal house.

With the new grip its basically taking my ring finger out of play so only one finger is now adding lift.

I will only have my Psycho and Cherry drilled this way so I can still use a strong cover and core and keep my Anger, No Mercy and Toxic drilled how they are for centres with more oil, so i can get more lift and revs.

paul to be honest i think you would like it a lot more if you did all your balls. you have enough revs to use the no mercy on oil with sarge and you wont run into problems with switching.

I agree with Pain here Paul, if your in a tournament or league or anything and have to switch from the regular drilled ball to the sarge ball or vice versa, it will take you a couple frames to get used to the different feel. And in a tournament especially those few frames could mean a lot of pins and could mean the difference between cashing and not.

I have already tried this layout out at a different centre and it did not perform as it does in my normal house. There was alot more oil and it wasnt getting the backend it should.

I was grateful I had normal fingertip balls in my bag at that point.

I will prob leave it a few weeks and see how it all turns out. I am sure I will get my new equipment drilled sarge though. :)
