Ok yeah, I mess up a lot! I am working on several things now, but one problem I have is that my slide foot (left) points really far right, usually at a 45 degree up to a 90 degree angle from straight.

Any help or pointers? Im messing my my knee sliding in like that heh :P

As far as the knee goes, it looks like you are putting your left hand on your knee during your delivery. I used to do the same thing and finally broke the habit this year for the same reason, my knee has been bothering me quite a bit. Upon fixing it, I have found that I get a lot more lift on the ball and more revs, and that I am a lot more balanced at the line through my release and a lot more comfortable. Just make it a habit to put your left arm out to your side when you're going through your approach and after a few sets it will be second nature, took me just a couple weeks before I was just doing it and not making a conscious effort to do it.

Other than that, I'd work on having a nice, pendulum armswing where the ball does all the work and you aren't muscling it at all. Keep your hand behind the ball and try not to go around the side of it, I can't tell for sure but it looks like you might be doing that.

one thing that's causing your slide foot to aim to the right is it looks like your stepping to the left with your right leg, your swing leg instead of just letting it swing to the left naturally and it's pulling your upper body out of position. you end up with your upper body and shoulders aimed toward the wall to your right instead of in line with your target. work on keeping your shoulders more square to your target and just swing your trailing leg to the left instead of taking that big step left...kinda like you're stepping to the left as you're sliding which is pulling you off your shot.

on another note, try hitching up your jeans and tightening your belt. lol those "moon crack" shots are distracting...:o jk

glad to see you have a sense of humor Pliko. some people take things to seriously and personally. i'm kinda in the same boat as you as far as being unemployed and inactive except for bowling since the middle of Dec 08. just trying to make it to the end of the current season before deciding on what to do next. keep working on your game and you'll get better every day. keep us informed on how you're doing.

All I would say is, yes that knee will begin to get messed up from that. I went to a coach and used to do that, I fixed it and my knee no longer hurts after bowling. Jason Couch had to get surgery because of him turning like that. (except he is a lefty) One thing is that you should work on that and make sure not to sorry about score, unless it is league play. If you fix the foot thing, then a few other things would fix themselves, and you would have a little less things to work on from there. I would say for 2 months you look pretty good.

Here are a few shots I took today.

12 games, 160 average across the 12 = personal best for me.

I corrected a few things on a few shots, but overall was trying to do too much at once I believe.

Worked on letting my arm swing free and bowled a 278 today! 9 strikes, then 9/9 in the 10th.

Just got my camera as well today so I will be taking much better (and longer) videos for me to get more data on what im doing right/wrong.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and not an expert by any means. One thing I noticed is that you are built kinda like me, a little wider than average. You start with the ball near the center of your body and then as you move forward you swing your hips to the left on the back and forward swings. I used to do that as well. My coach made me setup with my elbow tight to my waist and then pivot my forearm out to the right so that the left side of the ball was lined up with my right side. As I move and let the ball fall into the swing, I keep my arm and wrist in that position all the way until the release. It allows me to walk straighter and gives me much better balance and consistency. Kind of reminds me off Chris Barnes. Feels really awkward at first but it sure helped me. Keep the elbow in tight and use a nice free swing.
