This guy listed a Mars as 15lbs. The page says the ball is actually listed at 14lbs 13oz before drilling. Am I the only one who considers this 14lbs and not 15?

my maths say it is a 14lb, Anything under 15lb AFTER drilling i would say is not a 15lb

yeah thats my sentiments exactly.

I messaged him and said "hey why are you listing a 14lbs ball at 15lbs?"

his response was "ok you seem to know it all how would you list it? thats why theres a picture showing the box"

there was no picture of the box. Last I checked, everyone knows that 14lbs is 14lbs, who needs a picture to explain 14lbs...

What's the link to the site for this ball ? I would like to take a look and see.
But if the ball weighs in after drilling at 14 pounds, it is a 14 pound ball. He should state it was 15 pounds even before drilling and after drilling ti weighed out at the 14 pound mark.

the auction on ebay already ended, but the ball was never even 15lbs. 14lbs 13oz is still 14lbs. 14lbs 16oz would be 15lbs.

16ounces = 1 pound

I understand what you are saying and totaly agree with you. A 14# 13oz ball is 14 pounds. One of my Sauces was 15 pounds 3oz when it was sent to me. The lable on the box proved that. I weighed it to confirm. After drilling with the size of my fingers and thumb hole, the ball weighed at 14 pounds 15 oz's. Now I consider this a 14 pound ball now.

I was dumb though, I should have read more, but I was far too excited to find a mars for under 60 bucks

Naw you weren't dumb by any means. I am sure this transaction can be disputed with ebay and pay pal if that is the way someone is paying for the ball.
