Ok Gang, here is what you all have been waiting for. It's my video of that ptractice session a few weeks ago.

In this video I used the Hot Sauce Pearl the 1st 3 shots, the Acid the next 3 shots, and the Psycho the last 3 shots. In the 10th frame of than game I used the Hot Sauce Pearl, the Acid the next 2 shots in the 10th.

The vifdeo isn't the greatest but it's ok. I'll try and upload it in HD tomorrow.

Thought you watched my video?

Nice video Bubba, I really like the new form in the beginning of the approach with the knee bend, gets you down more at the line, and you put a little more loft into it from last time I saw you, very nice. Pleasure to watch as always Bud.

P.S.- 5 Pin? Put Some fingers in it would ya?:p J/K

BubbaRay, great video. that is a bowlers ultimate test of concentration bowling next to a pack of kids. lol i like the "second look" you give the ball after you've set up in your stance, is there any particular reason for it? just curious. don't know about those colorful pin deck covers though, looks like it could give a person a headache...lol

Its my home house, after bowling there a couple times you get used to it, that whole place has a lot of odd color to it. The locker room walls are painted hot pink..

Lonewolf, I give the ball the second look in my stance to make sure my hand is in the correct position. I combined that and the knee bend in the stance to give me a better fluid starting motion. It made a difference .

TraP, The 5 pin leave with the Psycho was due to the kid next to me going back to the line. I know I should have stopped but I went with the shot anyways because it was only practice but made a decent shot anyways.

The pulled shot with the Acid was because my feet got fast on that shot.

I will get more videos up for everyone once I get back to the game and see what changs I have to make if any due to my injury.

Yeah idle, it made a difference in my delivery. It made starting my approach smoother and slower. I was working on this for a while.

p.s. this video dosent do him justice, Bubba next time put a piece of white tape from pap to over finger bridge

Actually kinda, worked on it for about 2 weeks and average around 180 doing it so Im happy enough for now, funny how it took 10 years to learn 2 handed and 2 weeks to learn 1 handed, if I got a ball drilled to fit me 1 handed and got grips put in the ball I would probably be 10-20 pins higher than that, really not hard as long as you have balance, just my rev rate sucks 1 handed so that wont be happening soon, wouldnt even try it or show anyone till I get my rev rate over 200.

And no, the ball deflected out of the pocket and went to the right of the 5 pin, watch it again, would be what made it wiggle..

Hi Brian:

I have to see the Dr. to start therapy. It's his decission on what will be next. But I would lke to be back as soon as possible. From what I hear and know people who had a rotator cuff injury, it's a long process to recovery. Gotta remember, I am not young anymore so the body heal much slower.

Oh man, that sucks. I do understand that it's going to be a slower healing time, too. :/

Maybe over the summer, if you're healed, we should bowl some time.

I'll have my Hot Sauce Pearl by then. I just bought a used one on Ballreivews and should have it all drilled up for me by next Wednesday. :D

You are going to love the Hot Sauce Pearl better than the Sauce. I'll be around the lanes and I will see how it works for you.

I will look forward to bowling with you when the arm heals. Maybe it's a good time for me to practice left handed. What do ya think?

Bubba, excellent rolling! I would love to learn your skill of quickly switching balls. If I was throwing strikes as pretty as your first three shots I probably wouldn't switch balls for 10 more frames ;)

It really isn't a skill to change that quickly and keep striking. It is more about knowing and understanding how differently each ball reacts and what part of the lane to play with each ball. All three of those balls are drilled differently.

The Hot Sauce Pearl was drilled with a 4 inch Pin to Pap and Cg 3" Pin to Pap pin under drill with a 2 inch pin buffer.

The Acid is drilled with a 4 1/2 Pin to Pap and 3 1/2 Cg Pin to Pap Pin above the fingers.

The Psycho is drilled with a 4 inch Pin to Pap and a 4 Inch Cg to Pap Pin under finger drill layout.

Now that is concentration at 4:02. Wow I would of totally dumped it in the gutter with my A.D.D. That might be the best way to practice to have distractions running up and down the lanes.

Thanks for posting the video. You have fantastic balance and ball control. I am jealous.

My only suggestion is that your video person needs to learn to zoom in a bit smoother.

Are you shooting in HD?

Thanks again for posting it is always great to see how other's online bowl.

I can't wait to throw it. I'm also thinking about just starting over with my original Sauce. I might give it to Beans to see if he could just refresh the ball completely. I really did love that ball as well. I threw little Bieniecki's Hot Sauce and I loved it.

Practicing left handed sure isn't a bad idea. I throw left handed and 2 handed, just for practice for the just incase I need to switch to it situation.

Hammer, give the ball to beansie for he will know what to do with it. You will like it just give the ball a chance. As for the HSP, the ball is so predictable and consistent it is amazing. I've seen you throw left handed and 2 handed and I admire someone who can switch three different ways and still score.

BTW, keep doing the great job you are with your GF. She is bowling fantastic. Nice going Brian.

Yeah I thought I saw a post where you mentioned that it was shot in HD. The quality of the video didn't look HD to be even if it was HD over compressed for web.

Still cool though.

BubbaRay, tried that second look thing last night in league, when i remembered to do it that is. i'd get set in my stance with my feet, get the ball positioned, then look at my mark, then that second look at the ball, then when i looked up and picked up my mark again I began my approach. i have to say it did make a difference and i'll have to practice that some more to get more comfortable with it. i think it'll be something that'll make a difference in my game as well. to bad i only have a few weeks left in this season; guess that'll give me more time to practice it and get better at it.

It is slower and what made it slower is the knee bend in the stance and taking a look and making sure my hand is in the correct position. It brought everything back in time and slower.

That's exactly what I did last night. The ball is getting plugged as we speak, and i'll be picking it up next Wednesday! :D .. I can't wait to throw it. I'm going with a 5" pin to PAP, CG about 3" to PAP, with a possible weight hole (if needed).. Also, thanks for the kudos there. I used to have a real lot of time on my hands and practice two handed and left handed with Dave for fun, and it's just kinda keeping hold on to me. I plan to use them as a back up style if either my wrist or ring finger really give out.

Ali is really doing good. I had Beans order her that PlayMaker, since she liked the colors, and the ball just kills for her. I'm very proud of how she is doing, and i'm shooting for her having a 180 average by next year. She's floating around 160's now.
