Triplex tournament

Bowled in a triplex tournament today. Pretty interesting format. You bowl 3 games and bring down your best frame to form your triplex game. It sounds pretty easy to score 300, but it is not quite as easy as it sounds. Anyway, we bowled 6 games to form 2 triplex games, top 7 (I think) will get paid. I shot 545 for my 2 games and walked out in 3rd. 569 was leading and 546 was second with another squad tommorrow. Not quite as good as I thought I would do, but had a slight problem with carry. It was fun and interesting no the less.

I too competed in the Triplex Tournament at my house on Saturday. I got the call today that I finished in 1st for my division! First set I had a 300 and second set I had a 290 = 590. I was told my scores will go to regional and just have to wait and see if I end up winning anything else. If anyone has any information on that or how/when it happens I would love to know. Didn't get a very clear answer from my house.

One difference in ours though was only 1st place in each division (there's 3 of them) received money.
