Was looking around on some sites looks like this ball is going bye bye. Not sure if this is old news or not. Man I'm tempted to pick up 2 of these before there gone. My 1st one that was stolen was awesome. The 2nd one is good I need to bring it down to 1000 or 2000 I have to play with it cant remember what I brought my 1st one down to before they some jacked my stuff.

Was thinking of just getting them drilled up a little different and adjusting there covers.

I have the Anger, Playmaker, Emerald Vibe. Playmaker I really don't like it cant get it to move LOL, and E Vibe I need to tame it down in the back end.

Does Hammer have anything coming out to replace the Anger. I was looking at the Acid but my driller said it hooks more than the Anger but the Anger finished harder not sure the truth on this but me and him both agreed I dont need more hook so not sure if the Acid be a wise choice or not. Since I can get the Anger to move how I want it with my amount of rev's.

So looking for some suggestions. :)

Update looks like I can't even find one 16ibs being sold anywhere man this sucks going to call around at some shops.

I have have to disagree I think the Anger was one of the best balls Hammer ever made. I do no some balls dont react that same for all bowlers so something that worked for me will not always work for you and Vice-versa.

I am going to look up some reviews of the Acid vs Anger and might just get 1 Anger instead maybe.

I did a search before and didnt see anything it was stuck in the Black Widow post.

Chicarpenter84, like you've heard and read, the Acid is slightly stronger than the Anger. I think if you were to get an Acid and drill it similarly you would be pleased with it. if it's to much on the back end you can always adjust the cover or polish it.

Yup thats what I was thinking and then I wouldnt have to worry about what Anger I pulled out. I'm still thinking about picking up a Anger and get it drilled up when my current one is done.

I'm going to talk to a new driller since I wanted to get a lesson or two he does have the Motion View or Bowler Map cant remember what one. Since I'm not too pleased with how the Playmaker turned out for me from my current driller when I wanted the Psycho and he talked me into Playmaker. Maybe I can get some discounts on the lesson by getting a ball or two. Also since I asked him to find my PAP and was told its not that big of a deal since I no how you throw and theres always some play with all that well after that ball I think its time to spend my cash somewhere else.

lonewolf, from everything ive seen if you put them on a flat shot, the anger is actually more aggressive.

check out the posted video of the acid and the anger....

Jeff is throwing the anger over 20 and the acid over 15...

In that video, the Acid is being used around 15,16 and 17 out to 5-6-7, while yes he is playing in around the 20 board he is not sending it out as wide, it stays around the 10 board at the break point.

The Cover Prep is also different, the Anger is OOB 2000 and the Acid is OOB 4000.

Think you would be happy with either ball. If you liked the Anger... there is a good chance you'll like the Acid. (Never owned an Anger.) A little cover prep goes along way.

Changing the surface of the ball, one of the best ways to alter lane reaction. (Dollar for Dollar.)

When I threw 16lbs I had a Anger. Didn't care for it at all. Ball always hit flat except for when I went high flush.
