After league I decide to bowl in KOTH. They had the Highway To Hell pattern for KOTH. First game I went 223 and then 181. So I had 404 for qualifying. Cut was like 330 something. They took the top 24. I ended up being the 12th seed. I was like ok, I got a decent shot of having a chance at winning this thing. Let's just take it a frame at a time though....... I lose first round 194 to 125. I was like how can I go 404 thru two games of qualifying, then shoot 125 in the first round of match play? After all was said and done.... I kicked the ball return, but very slightly, slammed my balls on one of the chairs, smacked my shoes covers really hard about 1 or 2 times against the chairs, threw my rosen bag at my 3 ball tote, and then walked up to where the lockers are, went out of sight where nobody could see me, saw a tables leaning up against the back of a locker...... AND PUCHED THE CRAP OUT OF IT! This isn't like me to get to the point of where I beat the crap out of stuff, but I was so disapointed in myself that I needed to get a bit of anger out. I've never been so upset with myself.

thats the funny thing about it, when we get mad its always at ourselves and yet people think its against the other person or team. Ive dont stuff like that too during league only more subtle and no over dramatic like that.

Dont worry mate, i do the same.
If i miss a couple of shots that i feel i should of made i tend to just grap my puff ball and walk of down the centre to clear my head.
If i continue to miss stupid shots i have been known to punch the wall, and the worktop of the ball racks.
Having spent most of my childhood doing karate, i punch with alot of force.
Have put knuckle dents in the wall. FYI, puch something soft less likely to damage your hand :D

Remember, it is only a game. The ball return / wall / chairs / table /score monitors / balls / bags / and so on didn't throw the ball. It happens and chalk it up to experience. Keeping a cool head and reflecting back on those bad games and shots can teach us something. Think abut what you did and how you should approqch it the next time. I have went from 135 the first game to 300 the third game in a series. I would have never thrown the 300 if I lost my cool and got upset to the point like this. I know, I know we are all different bu it is ok to be upset, just be upset in your mind and think about the next time it happens on how to make that adjustment.

I've been bowling for 15 years now. I have never really got hot headed like I did in a very very very long time. I don't know what it was. I never get to the point of where I was last night. I think I was just expecting so much after how I threw the ball during qualifying and once I got into match play it was a total let down. Really lfelt like I let myself down. Oh well. Just have to get it back next week. It's a 50ft pattern. I'm bowling on it two handed. I shot 410 practicing two games on that shot bowling two handed.

I never was that bad. I would just smack the chair. Over the years I learned to let it go if it was just a bad shot I made or game. The longer you think about the longer your going to ball like crap that day week month etc. I was so upset one night that I left 4 splits in arrow in one game that it carried over to the whole night. With a grand total of 13 splits I left that night  crazy right. Other nights I use to get so upset for just taking out the 6/9 on a full rack and then go right back through the 6/9 on the spare for a nice 2 count for the frame. After all that how about leaving 3/10 and going right threw them clean and missing your spare  .
So I no how you feel. What I do now if anything happens like chopping the 6/9 or missing the 3/10 because I went through it is forget it even happened its the past and you cant do jack about it all you can do is come back strong and you will be amazed how well you finish after having some trouble.
If you get that mad you need to just walk away from the lane and go outside or just walk up and down the house and cool down. Come back to the lane and Strike it up.
Just for the record make sure you don't do that in a Tourney you can and prob will be disqualified. I did bowl in a league if you kicked the return and was caught your scores did not count that night. So be careful and you dont want to spend money on fixing something you broke. But if you do need to hit something use your non Bowling hand ;) .
My buddy was called last night for strike pot somewhere around $1500 missed it. Then he cried all night and bomb his 3rd game after that opened the 8/9/10 and lost KOTH by 20 and doubles by 2. He would of had won about $300 for that but was so mad he hung on the rail for the Strike Pot.
