What Oil pattern do they use?
Yesterday the local alley put out that same pattern on 6 lanes.. With my ball speed and rev rate I had a hard time getting my ball to move.. Picked up a Cell that Chris had and rolled it and was able to get it to move just fine..

What drill layout did he use on the ball?

They use their own pattern that you can see here:

(Links further down on the page)
I played way inside when they layed it out for our sport league, but we bowl on wood lanes that are probably higher friction than what you bowled on.

What did you think of the condition? It completely smacks of the Cheetah pattern on the tour:
Cheetah Pattern (http://www.pbatour.com/resources/oilpatterns/laneconditions.asp?ID=7)
but with a couple of exceptions. There's a bit more reverse to forward oil 25ft down the lane, with less buffed area on the outside. The reverse oil looks like it will carry down more, making the outsides squirly on the second/third squads before they dress the lanes again, so those in the 2nd or third blocks will be starting inside to begin with.
At the beginning, anything that can go long and take advantage of the back end is going to dominate. Or, play the middle with a ball that can drive through the oil, then have that extra snap at the back end. The key is how to take advantage of the carry down. This makes me wish I had recorded Tuesday's Classic Bowling on ESPN Classic. Jones/Malott were bowling on the Cheetah and that would give a good indication of what to do and where to go.
Oh.. is it safe to assume the lanes at Cashman are synthetic? I didn't get a chance to drop by there a couple weeks ago. Oh, wait.. this is Vegas I'm talking about. The only wood house I ever remember seeing there was Jerry's 300 bowl in NLV. EVERYTHING there is synthetic! :D

There was a lot more hold in the middle than I've ever experienced on the Cheetah. It was a relatively high scoring pattern for our league, with most of the high games of the year being bowled on it (a couple of 260s, few more 240+s, and there aren't many great bowlers in our league). I had a pretty good look with the Hot Sauce on it, but I had to slow down a little so it wouldn't push through the break point. My Anger was really good on the fresh.

Having bowled on both patterns within a couple weeks of each other in the same house, in my opinion it bowls more like the Chameleon. They're both 40 feet.

Good point; Cheetah is 4 feet shorter, so we're looking at throwing it a bit slower through the heads, getting it outside to at least 5 if not further, and watch it snap at the back. Long rolling balls that can turn the corner well (read: like Jeff Ussery's Total NV #3; review and video at ballreviews.com) appear to be in order.

Any where the USBC Open is being hosted outside of Reno and Orlando (If they ever get that stadium done, it gonna be contested on a custom installation. Can't imagine why it would anything other than synthetic lanes. Believe they use Brunswick Anvilanes.

It's probably just my experience talking there. Growing up in Omaha, there were only 2 houses there that were synthetic; one was a 16-lane house, the other was at the Air Force Base. Everything else there was wood.
Moving to Las Vegas, all but one house is synthetic, so it was a big difference for me. After 5 years, I (partially) move to Sacramento, and the wood/synthetic ratio is a bit more balanced. Some are combined, some are completely wood, some are completely synthetic. It may just be a regional thing; I don't know. But I find that wood lanes offer more consistency as far as oil carrydown than synthetic, and that is a huge difference maker should Nationals be thrown on such a set of lanes.
