today i went to my center to practice.. they had only oiled a certain # of lanes and they haddent oiled the one i was on. the front of the lane was bone dry and the end was loaded with oil. i was throwin my toxic and my ebonite big one and i was gettin anythin out of them which is VERY rare. i was wondering wat a good ball for a dry/light oil in the front to very heavy oil in the back??? any input would be nice

I would say the BW would be your next choice. You would have to speed up your shot to get through the dry, though....

use what you have, just adjust your game, move right...if u miss right move right as the old saying goes. Not sure of your style or lines you pay, but usually on situations like that its a good time to learn to handle the ball differently and throw different angles to the pocket. Today most people think you have to crank it and cover as many boards as possible (generalization)...try moving right and thowing the ball down the second arrow, use the opportunity to learn to bowl differently, to be more flexible with your shot. You might be surprised one day you hit a tournment and have to bowl on that type of shot...as far as buying a new ball to handle this type of lane condition...forget it save the cash and get something you really need...a BW pearl or something similar.
