Almost 300 w/Real Deal

Almost shot my first 300 with my Real Deal on Tuesday night. Had the first 10 strikes and left a solid 7 pin on the eleventh shot :mad: :mad: Legs felt like they weighed 500 lbs each I was so nervous. Oh well, will eventually come to me.

Good job! The closest I came was strikes in 1-7 and 9 spare in the 8th and struck out for 279.

my closest was the first 10 then 11th ball i wasnt nervous at all.......threw the ball perfect it felt and looked like then left a wiggling 7 pin...looked up on the screen and it read a strike and they had to take it away. finished with 289

nice shooting, yes your first will happen when you least expect it...but in the mean time great game, what did you finish set wise?

The closest for me is strung 11 in a row, then pitched out and got a 7 hit for a 297. Was so nervous that I dumped the first ball in the next game straight into the gutter....

The closest ive came was 10 in a row then solid 8 pin picked up the spare for a 289. That was 2 yrs ago...ive rolled a 279 since

The closest I have come and my highest game was 1-7 then addressed the shot on #8, but someone jumped up on the lanes beside me :mad: and made me come off the address and that threw my entire game:mad: :mad: . 234, was a great game and I just wonder what would've happened if I had gotten some lane courtesy. That game was rolled with a plastic Dallas Cowboys ball 4 yrs ago.

I think it depends on where you are at in bowling.

I'll never forget the first league night that I threw a 200 game. In fact, I threw 2 of them, but my third game was like a 148 or something. I ended up with a 599 series.

So, despite getting a 600 series, I still rolled my two highest competitive games ever. For me, that first game (which was a really high score) meant the world and allowed me to knock off at least one of my goals.

Then this year in leauge during my return, a very similar thing happened and I rolled a 599.

Last week was my first 600 series since my return and my first game was a 247. My low game was still a 189, so I was above my average.

I think once I become more consistent, I won't be happy unless all of my games are over 200, but for now, I have yet to throw three 200 games on league night.

Now, for the better rollers, I think the answer is obviously three very solid games totalling a great series.
