Yea I do..well not an pod my blackberry has 8 gigs so pretty much the same thing.I tend to listen to it when I'm having trouble relaxing and focusing on my mark,It calms me down and helps smooth out my bowling.

I have a small sansa clip that I attach to the neck of my shirt with shortened headphones so that I dont yank on it while swinging.

Definitely knocks out distractions in loud kid infested alleys.

for little local tournaments, i dont

but for national events, i wear them whenever i feel like i need them.. its set up before i'm ready to go,

i play it off my phone(8gb memory), so i normally wear bluetooth headphones, i dont wear them while bowling, because when i'm on the approach... I really cant hear anything... just sitting down waiting to bowl

I listen to my ipod when I'm practicing by myself, but not during league or tournaments.

I do on the way to the lanes and sometimes when I walk in, if its a big tournament I usually have it on for a little while once I get there, then I take it out and mingle before we bowl.

Well, I bring it some days when im not in a talkative mood, but on our tournaments i've been to recently, no cell phones or ipods as not to distract u or slow pace down.. You can't have them out in circle or w/e.. only on tables behind.... Weird.. But they are great tournaments, very organized and stuff, so i deal with it.

I listen on the way to the center, not during. Headphones in my ears is awkward when I'm bowling.

we had this sort of topic on an australian forums...and it blew out of hand...

we had the older bowlers saying it was disrespecful

younger bowlers saying it wasnt... and it was fine.
