Well, what are you looking for? Something to be a great benchmark ball (Onyx) or something that will be great for a skid/flip motion (Burn)?

I love my burn to death, and I believe that i would love the onyx, i cant say they would be one or other, they are completely different motions.. the onyx is archy, the burn is flippy. Onyx better benchmark/controllable, the burn is more backend angle and pop, but less controllable.

The only thing I can even add... which isn't much what type of drill are you planning on using? Or would it depend on which ball. (The Vibe should probably not be RICO'd, because of the core design.

Both of your Hammer's are skid-flip, so what about the Lane 1's?

If i were you, i would get the onyx. It seems you already have a raw hammer psycho, which has the same core as the burn. they would overlap in your lineup.

The Lane #1's are all stacked (says it next to them), so should be length with a lot of backend. Looks to me like you need something to roll a little earlier and give you more of an arch, I would go with the Onyx Vibe.

Depending on what type of look you want out each ball is what you should base your decission on. It's a tough decission but I would go with the Burn. You copld always adjust the surface on the burn to make it more smoot for you but you can adjust the Onyx to make it skid / flip.

i do need a ball that is going to roll early.. i guess i should have said that ealier.. which ball would be better for a ealier roll i have all the length and backend balls i could ever need now i want something that is a bit different

Onyx Vibe it the clear choice, like Bubba stated you could probably make the Burn earlier, but it might not match the Vibe.

I have never rolled the Burn, so I can't tell you to get one or the other. I have the Onyx though and am very pleased with this ball. I think for what you are looking for the Onyx is the better choice.

Definately the Onix Vibe then like I stated before.

I'd get the Onyx Vibe and then add some surface (2000 or just knock the polish off with 4000).

I agreed with Dave, the black (onyz) vibe can do it all with simple surface adjustments... Best ball for the money out there... I used mine on a fresh house shot and it just kills the pins...

so are we all thinkin of a pin under drill or will this ball naturaly have that early roll with more or less a stacked drill...?????

Think a pin down would work, but to be honest I think a pin-up would give it some extra length... then if you need it earlier you can tweak the surface.

Here and my thoughts on drilling for pin-up drillings depending on Rev Rate... I drilling PtoP some where between 4 to 5 and kick the CG out about a 1/2 to 1"

I'd throw it at 4000 and Polished before made any changes, it suppose to early and archy... at 4000 Polished. You can have the shop knock off the OOB and redo the 4000 Polished before you roll it. Over the past year I have started to knock off the OOB surface and redo it. Before I roll the ball... the Burn I forgot to do it. Now that I have it seem to be coming into its own.

I'll say this Burn is really starting to work well for me.
