View Full Version : I tested myself yesterday

Well yesterday I gave myself a test for curiosity. I decided to go down the lanes to get out of the house before I went stir crazy. Real bad day on Saturday. So while I was there I decided to throw again after 3 1/2 weeks. I gave my arm a real test as I threw 3 games and not doing anything out of the ordinary. I stayed real free with my armswing and keept the feet slow.
First game I started with 222 :) and then proceeded with a 190  with a solid 9 and two solid 8's. Final game I therew 215 :) . The arm felt real good, never gave a sign of pain during or afterwards. This morning I was shocked when I woke up. Not one ounce of soreness. SO I may just be on my way to doing what I love after only 2 months of surgery.
Now before anyone tells me , NO I am not pushintg it with the arm. I realize just because I threw 3 games yesterday without any problem , does not mean I can do it every day or a few times a week yet. Next time I throw 3 games wil probably be in 4 weeks.
Thanks fror listening and now more importantly at this time just 12 days before the wedding, time to go broke paying for everything.

Great to hear that you're well on your way to a great recovery from the surgery!
Also, best of luck to you with the wedding... I'm getting married in late October... any hints/suggestions/tips/cautions?

b0ss, opne tip I can give you that might save alot of money, try and do as much as you can yourselves for the wedding such as Table centerpieces / favors / flowers(artificial) / Make the Bows . and so on. This saves a ton of money . A wedding planner person is not real necessary. That save money also. Shop around for the best prices on recetion halls and menu's.
I wish you the best in your upcoming mariage also.

It didn't hurt as bad as having professionals do the center pieces flowers and so on. But it is still expensive just not as much.

BubbarRay, great to hear about your recent trip to the lanes and that it was pain free. Still having any issues with the incision area? we all know you won't overdue it, besides your fiance won't let you, will she? try to relax the next couple weeks before the wedding, don't let anything stress you out. things will go off without a hitch, and you two will make a lovely couple. can't wait for the wedding pics.

The incision is bleeding alittle but has subsided alot. The infectioninit appears to be healing with the anti biotics I am taking. I will try to relaxe but with all the preperations it will be stressfull as the day gets closer and closer. I get wedding pics out as soon as I get back from the honeymoon.

That's the way it ws in the previous one. This one is different . I think I can safely say it won't be yes dear in this one.
Thank you to everyone for the well wishes.

Great job with bowling Jim, glad you took it easy and didnt try to force anything with the ball. Hope everything heals up quick, 1 handed average is up to 180 after 3 weeks so getting there.:D
Good luck with the wedding and honeymoon Bud, hope everything goes super smooth for you.:)

Thanks idle and it is good to see the Avg improving 1 handed. I told you it won't take long before you are where you were 2 handed.

Its kinda fun because I can actually play in the track area and not have to worry about the ball going nuts on the backend. Going to need to get a Virtual Gravity or even a Sting before league starts until I get the rev rate up a little more.
