depends on how old the ball is. first thing to do is take it back to where you bought it and see what they can do for you. if they can't help you, contact Hammer directly and they may be able to help.

Do you keep the ball in your trunk all the time? If so and depending on the temp in the trunk, a high hot temp will make a ball split. Drastic changes in temp will also cause a ball to split.
You could try contactin the company and see what they have to say about the warranty. Most companies warranty their products from defects for 12 months.

You left you gear in the car??? Oops. Two things you NEVER leave in the car, bowling balls and golf clubs.

Thats crap, all balls come with a 1 year warranty from Ebonite. Your proshop should just have to call the distributor to get a replacement and the distributor works with Ebonite to resolve. (From what I have read and been told by proshop.) It should be seemless for you.

Somehow I don't think having a brain fart and leaving the ball in the car comes under the factory warranty.

True... but Hammer is the final decision at this point. I was just calling BS on the 90 Day Warranty. Figure even you would appreciate that. ;)

Mine was a drilling issue, not abuse. Brian sent me a new ball out of the goodness of his heart, not because of a warranty claim. In fact,I never even made a warranty claim on that BWS. The ball just showed up on the big brown truck. Maybe go to the top and hit Jeff up with this sob story???

Honestly, I was not referring to your issue at all. Just calling BS when I needed.:D Because that proshop does not deserve to the business he is getting... lying to customer is not a good way to stay in business.

Oh,okay,I get where you're coming from now. Lying to the customer is a huge no-no,no matter what business you're in. Unless you're a hooker. In that case go ahead and tell me how good I was.:) I can take it. Honest.
