How does bathing effect finger grips? I would think that the glue used to put them in place would wash away also? I'm not sure...Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I have finger grips and it doesn't affect them at all.

Water will not wash crazy glue off the grips or the ball.

Yep...Anger has been bathed several times and never had any issues with the grips. You ever accidentally get super glue on something and try to wash it off with water? Yeah...doesn't go anywhere. LOL :)

acetone is a solvent for superglue. It can commonly be found in finger nail polish remover.

"acetone is a solvent for superglue" also for finger nails and your grips too. Watch out how you use it ..may have to get new grip if ya eat to much.. also it is an illegal cleaner for balls.
use to use it all the time just not during bowling it will keep your nose clear too.

yup, bathing is fine for the grips, I think in my experience it might have made them softer for some reason (havent had to bathe my balls in a while since I dont bowl as often as i used to due to my knee)

Good seeing you again blisters. I hope your knee is felling better and not giving you alot of problems as before.

My knee is much better, I started working out and it strengthened my knee a lot, that helps some, but the weather has been nice and that helps so much more. I'm in the old timers group, I got arthritis already :(

I've lost it, sorry guys, I'm on the fritz, so I'm a little off. Been watching a 2 year old all summer >.>;;

40 is still a bit young for arthritis IMO though. Not like me though lol...

It seems everyone is getting arthritis earlier in life...

Arthritis is becoming more and more prominent in younger people. My driller's gf has arthritis in both knees and one shoulder. Then again, I'm 24 and have had a hip replacement...Younger is the knew old.

Hahaha, I got the degenerative stuff, so this could be interesting. I dunno how I'll fare in the next 10 years. I suspect I'll be able to fight off more surgery for a while, but by 40 I'll prolly need at least one knee replacement

Also arthritis from typing and all the new games and stuff is more common..
