Finally got to get my Jigsaw drilled today and practiced with it a few games. all I can say is this ball is all it's advertised to be.

first game just trying out different lines and getting the thumbhole feeling comfortable, shot 187

second game went 9/ X 9/ X X X X X X X X X = 270

third game went X X X X X X X X X 9- = 267

-18 in a row from the 2nd to the 3rd game

I'll get pics up later this week, computer issues at the moment. If anyone is on the fence about getting this ball, all I can say is you will not be disappointed at all with this ball.

I am thinking about getting this ball but I am not sure because I feel comfortable with what I have now. Although I think this ball would complement my Hot Sauce pretty well.

Congrats on your games and 18 in a row, how did you get it drilled? (I know you said you can't get pics up, just the layout if you remember)

Dave, the pin is about a 1/2" above my ring finger and the CG is kicked out to the right maybe 30* and the HMB marking is about 2" from my thumbhole to the right and slightly below the thumb. there's also a weight hole on my VAL. will get pics posted to my photobucket account when i get my PC fixed on wednesday so they'll show up in my sig line.

Congrats on your games and 18 in a row, how did you get it drilled? (I know you said you can't get pics up, just the layout if you remember)

Lonewolf. Great bowling bud. I can safely say, this ball eased your mind about buying it. The Jigsaw it going to be a ball to recon with this year. Look out other brabds, NOTHING HITS LIKE A HAMMER. Keep up the great bopwling Lonewolf.

I don't wanna hijack your topic Lonewolf, but I figured here would be the best place for my review of the ball:

My stats:
PAP: 4 3/4 over 1/2 up
Rev Rate: 330-360 (I haven't checked in a while)
Ball Speed: 15-17 MPH

Ball specs:
4-5" pin (4 3/4 is what I measured it at), cg a little right of pin/mb line
15lb 3oz

Layout: 5.5 X 4
Pin ends up 1 inch above bridge, MB 1.5 inches right of thumb X-hole on VAL 3" down from PAP

For me this ball starts hooking in the middle of the lane, and is smooth, but powerful in the backend. Way too much ball for the house shots I tried it on, I couldn't keep it on the right side of the headpin. Compared to a similarly drilled Hot Sauce Pearl (5.25 X 4, pin over bridge with cg kicked a little right) it was a few feet earlier and at least 5 boards stronger while still being more predictable. I tried it on the Viper pattern and it was good from a deep laydown spot (28-30) and feeding it to around the 5 board 40 feet or so down the lane. Still had to take hand out of the ball and throw it faster to have a shot. The Hot Sauce Pearl was good laying it down around 19 out to 6-7 at the breakpoint. Will try the ball on the Scorpion pattern next week (which is what they should be laying down).

thanks for the compliment BubbaRay. was on the fence about getting both the Jigsaw and the Sting, but decided on just the Jigsaw because of finances. this ball is going to open a lot of eyes and will be a big seller for Hammer.
