Today i was pacing for 2 friends and just bowling for fun and Trying to get some good scores.. I threw a 259 and here was the frames: X,X,X,X,X,9/,X,9/,X,XXX.
First Spare was a Solid 8 pin.. I mean i couldn't have hit the Pocket more perfectly. I turned around and thought i had strike.. looked back and was staring the 8 pin in the face.. Lets just say i made sure to hit it as hard as possible :p Next 9/ was the same lane and a pulled a little.. Hit brooklyn And it was the spot at our house which usually carries brooklyn. I know i didn't deserve a strike, But i know that every 300 has a lucky strike and this would have been the only one that wasn't clean and nice.. I left a solid 9  I first left the right handers perfect shot and then the solid 9 on a brooklyn. Which the pins just exploded everywhere and didnt hit the 9 pin. So, I think I should just keep going for high scores and let the 300 come to me. My youth coach threw a 300 yesterday. It was exciting. :D

Walking, very nice bowling. The 300 will come when you leats expect it. The solid 9 you left was because the ball kept driving through the pins and did not deflect off the 5 oin to kick out the 9. It was too good of a shot. so they say. Keep up the great scores .

Thanks everyone =) Thats my 3rd 225+ game in the last week. I love the Raw Hammer line. :D Um The solid 8 was the Pocket, the 9 was brooklyn, but it was like a solid brooklyn you know, like how the pins just go flying and carry amazingly?

lol.. funny you should say that... i was in my PBAX league last night on the Viper pattern, using my BWB with a tiny crack (not a scratch, a crack) coming out from the thumbhole. I started with my left foot on the 35 board at the approach, aimed at 15 at the arrows. While trying this line during practice, i noticed that if i missed the arrow one board to the left, it's going dead flush brooklyn (i guess you can call it that...), and miss it one to the right, it'll still come back just as hard but into the correct side of the head pin.
long story short, the four games were 190, 182, 179, 223 for a 774 4-game set. out of those 4 games, i probably had about 28 strikes, 5 spares, and 8 opens. (hooray for not being able to convert single-pins...) out of those 28 strikes, 23 of them were brooklyn. someone actually came over thinking i was a lefty, but noticed how i consistently missed to the same spot. i figured, if it ain't broke, i won't fix it. i kept striking. looked like complete crap, but kept striking.
came in 3rd place for the night out of about 31 people. i didn't bowl well. i bowled consistently....

yes i know brooklyn isnt a good shot, I just messed up.. I gripped the ball and after than i added Tape and then struck the next frame.. the brooklyn was a "flush Brooklyn" like he just said. It wasn't something that would leave a 9 pin usually.. It was a "solid brooklyn" but cant complain about my scores.. bowled a 246 Today :D The good scores keep on rollin. with both my burn and CP :p

10 in the pit is always good. The only thing I do when it goes over there is give the ball all the credit and fess up to "Operator Error" on my part.

Oh yeah i was fessing up haha. I was just like "aww i pulled it, dang. =/" I knew when i let it go it wasn't hitting pocket. I cussed LOL just once, but thankfully mom didnt hear. I never cuss in front of her, but idk why i guess the 8 pin started anger then pulling it didn't help. I bowled 246 yesterday. Went front 5 7/ (bucket, i put too much forward roll and never hooked into pocket.. kinda flattened out) and then XX9/X9/ so good games keep coming :D
