9 pin, no tap?

Im going to a fundraiser and it says the games are 9 pin, no tab. does anyone know what this means. thanks

It means that nine pins are counted as strikes,Doesnt matter what pins just that nine is strike and strikes count as strikes to

Ya, knock 9 pins down on the first ball and it counts as a strike. Knock all 10 pins down, and its a strike.

Man, oh man,,,,,,I'd LOVE to find a 9 pin tournament......I can't count the 300's I've shot in this format!
