hey man

all what i can see is just your knee bend... just bend that knee a little bit more

and i dont know if its me or not, but your swing looks a little bit too far away from your body... but that might be the camera angle..

other then that, your timing, pace, release balance looks great

on edit:
I just noticed at the start of your approach, you draft a good 5 boards +... this will kill you on sport patterns... i use to drift alot..

and i'm still not sure about your swing.. i dont think its too far now... just theres something about it...

I had fixed the drifting and now its coming back, tough thing i just havent been focuses to much on my foot work lately

not sure i get what you mean by saying the swing is to far away from my body if you could help me understand that a little more?

Thanks

I have to agree with Racer on the knee bend. Try and get just a tad more bend at the point of release.. The arm swing looks fine to me from that angle. It appears from what can be seen that your swing is straight and you play the inside of the ball . The swing downward seems close to your body to me which is what you want.

As a taller 6'5 guy its difficult for me to get a lot of knee bend, what am i losing with the lack of knee bend i currently have?

Don't worry al;ot about the lack of a knee bend. Although it is better to have more of a knee bend, sometime physical build and injuries keep us from getting low. This is more common in Senior bowlers. With a stiffer kknee ,you will probably require a little more concentration to overcome the lack of a knee bend. You may even try a little more bend from the waist, when in your stance, not much and only in your stance and not during your approach.

Depends on how the ball comes in contact with the lane. If it's landing soft, not much. But if it's slamming down into the lane you're losing revs and probably some accuracy after it bounces.

In your case, there is no need to be concerned with more knee bend.

The two main purposes for a deeper knee bend are to get your center of gravity lower which allows for better balance. The other is for what Rowdy mentions. You want the ball coming off at the bottom of the swing arc. If the bottom of the swing is 3 feet off the ground, then you’re creating too much room for inaccuracy. The “textbook” contact point should be 10” past the foul line. There’s no way to do that without slamming the ball into the lane if you don’t get close to the ground.

As long as you can get a little bit of a knee bend you'll be fine, you can compensate for the rest with your shoulders and waist.
