I have a phyco and when I use this ball it rolls over the thumb hole. the pin is under finder hole about one inch and the cg is out 45 dgrs also has a balance hole, it rolls down the lane over the thumb hole and when it turns it is not. The way the ball is drilled it hooks alot even rolln off the thumb. I dont understand, I have used different releases, sometimes it dosent but my normal release is always thumb hole. I have used a lower track line from my normal release but it cause me to thumb hole my other balls.

I would take it back to the pro shop and have them check it. If you were close to the hole before and you get a ball that flares alot its gonna go right over the thumb. Also if the PAP is not correct and way off it could have a definite effect on the ball roll especially a bigger weight hole if it has one.
Also you said it doesn't track over the thumb if you change your hand position. I know it is hard to do but try using a different axis tilt on the ball when released to change the track to a lower track.

It is harder to change axis tilt, If I was consistant with that trick I would use it. But that cause me to roll thumb hole on other eqipment so have a redrill done.
