this is my problem i throw a 14 psycho,14 the chalk ,14 brunswick power groove. when i throw these i stand 2 boards to the left of the farthest left marker dot with a 4 step approach. i aim for the 1st arrow to the right of the center arrow and they hook hard. right for the 7 pin or the gutter before the 7 pin. btw im new here just started a few months ago an already a hammer head.

the chalk is drilled with balance hole

Drilling #1 - Skid/Flip Layout
Ball Motion: Length with sharp breakpoint and aggressive backend
Lane Condition: Medium to Heavy Oil
Flare Potential: Medium
Pin Placement: Place pin at 5? from the positive axis point (PAP)
Mass Bias: Place mass bias in the strong position
Balance Hole: If needed, place balance hole at 4 from the center of span on a line through the center of gravity.

the psycho is drilled no balance hole

Drilling #3 - Strong Layout
Ball Motion: Strong and controllable hook
Lane Condition: Heavy Oil
Flare Potential: High
Pin Placement: Place pin at 3? - 4 from the positive axis point (PAP)
Balance Hole: If needed, place balance hole at 4 - 5 from the center of span on a line through the center of gravity.

Throwing a #14 pound ball is not your problem. The problem may be due to the lane conditions. It also depends on the vlume of oil on the lane. If your conditions are dry lane conditions neither of these ball are a good choice . It also depends on the lane surface type. If they are wood and a dry condition, both will hook into the next lane almost. Get yourself a Razyr pr a weaker ball and see how it reacts .

That looks like a nasty crack next to the finger hole of that chalk??? I know it's off topic but my driller said to stop cracks like that you or your driller can take the small drill bit you can and drill a hole at the end of the crack about 1/4 - 1/2 inch deep and fill the hole with super glue. I would definitely check with your driller to see if he concurs with this but that's what mine told me...

A bit too much hand and cover for those conditions.

Try a more gentle release and/or a bit of polish to make up for the short pattern on which you throw.

Two issues with the crack around the ring finger. First, it is drilled far too close to the pin. In a face to face with Jeff U. Pin must be >1/2" from ring finger drill. Second the grip insert was glued around the entire circumference of the hole and glued at the surface instead of down in the filler material.

If the Rayzr reaction is not quite what you need don't be afraid to tweak the cover. I was using the Acid OOB playing 5 to 3, it transitioned really nice off the end of the pattern.
