just got my jigsaw about 2 weeks ago,and im surprised this ball is not as strong as all the articles say about it,my sting is alot stronger than the jigsaw,very similar drilling,ive heard it takes some games on it to get it going is this true and why

I have not thrown one myself, but I know a few who say this same thing.

The Jigsaw preforms best when there is oil. Get some games on the ball you will notice an improvement in preformance. The Sauce was the sameuntil it had some games on it. Give it a chance to get the track worn ing and get some oil in the cover. Keep the ball clean after your sessions to keep the preformance at it's peak. As for why this is, all I can answer is some balls takes a few games before seeing the best preformance.

For me after a few practice sessions the ball started reading the middle of the lane more instead of being really skid/flip when I first got it.

Stronger is most times in the eyes of the bowler. The Sting will give the APPEARANCE of being stronger because of the movement in the back of the lane. The Jigsaw will make more movement in the oil than the Sting. Just like a racing slick will do great on the track but horrible in the rain. This is also why you typically see so-called weaker balls make big moves in the back. They skid more in oil and retain all there energy longer.

My jigsaw definetly took some breaking in before it started to really hook.I had the sting also and it was definetly stronger in the backend than the jigsaw but the jigsaw started up earlier which took a little away from the backend.Two different ball reactions.

Yep same here I rolled my friends and was really getting great reaction. Then I got mine and was like is this even the same ball? He assured me after getting a couple sets on it it would come alive and it did...Very pleased with the JigSaw....

I add a bit of polish to mine once a month or so, I find that the Jigsaw hit the pocket more consistantly for me that way and cuts back on the brooklyn strikes.

Awesome ball, very aggressive, what it hits it destroys. The Jigsaw seems to look for the pocket to destroy, and hits it hard and loud.
