They say you never forget your first 800 with happened last week bowling of 2008-2009 season. I don't think I will forget my second which came on my first night subbing for the 2009-2010 season. New city record 297,300,296 for 893. Yes I got a little slow on the two. 3rd 300 2nd 800. Took me 25 years to get first 800, the next time I bowled got second. Hoping for the Turkey next week. And NOTHING HITS LIKE A HAMMER YOU WIN:) (Black Widow Pearl at State bowling tourny.)

It was one of those days you only dream about. I did not mention on my first thread but the only reason I was subbing that night is my father in-law was in the hospital. I told him to take care of himself and I would take care of the bowling. I never thought I would have done what I did. (but I did go see him today and thanked him for him being in the hospital so I could bowl the city record, because he has not missed a night of bowling in like 10 years, "yes he knows my sense of humor") I use to bowl in a couples league but our other couple back out at the last minute so I stated a fun night out at this bowling center bowl scotch doubles a nice way to keep the timing going.
If anyone tells you that they are good enough to throw a series like that with just skill I will not believe them. 3rd frame had a messenger. 17th rolled my hand over thought I would leave 10 pin but it kicked out in the last second with a love tap. 31st I throw it way to straight but it held and kicked out 10 pin.
Bubba I am send you my specs I was just out of town over the weekend. I will e-mail Mr. Ussery and tell him thanks too, because I won a Suace last year and asked if he would give it to my wife because I just got my BWP and really loved it. So far I think I made a great call. Bowl city record and wife loves me. And like i said before Nothing Hits Like a Hammer You Win:)

Here is a link to the article in the towns newpaper. City record was 886 bowled twice in 2004 and 887 was bowled by Myron would bowls on the other side of the bowling alley the same night I bowl mine.
