Just wondering what some of your preferences are in heel and sole combination is bowling shoes.I currently have dexter sst 7's and i use both heel #10 and sole #10 (i think the #'s are right but whatever the ones with the most slide are..) and I've always used this no matter what shoes, house or approach im at i tend to be on the more slippery side even when im wearing 3g shoes. So my question is,is the combination based on personal comfort? and what combinations are some of you guys using and do you tend to change them depending on the approach/house.

Im using the Red Heel and the S8 Pads, the 10's felt like I was literally on ice

I have the 7s as well and I know my slide is a 6 I think whatever the most slippery was that came with them I know it's 6 or 8 and as far as heel I have no idea I've never changed that either, it was one of the few products I've ever bought that worked for me OOB.

No interchangeable heel here, but I use the #10 sliding pad. I need all the glide I can get.

I use the Brunswick version of the SST and I've got 'em set up for max slide with the red felt heel and 10 slide. But then again,I'm a big guy and these are old approaches I'm dealing with.

I use a pair of SST 5's and use a 10 slide pad and an H6 (I think) on the heel. I go down to an 8 slide pad if the lanes are slick.
