I was able to 'demo' the new Ebonite Total NV yesterday at a local (Sac-CA) alley, and all I've got to say is they arrive on Friday and that's when I'm picking mine up. Picked it up and rolled 8 out of the first 9 (XXX9XXXXX) with a variety of hits (left a 9-pin) from sweepers to solid to high. The ten-pin was never a factor. It's a fairly long carry with an angular break. If you can get the ball out at 15mph + on an inside out shot 28-over 15-out to 5 or 7 or just have a different target and good speed, the pins don't stand a chance. It's a nice-looking ball too...but real vicious into the pocket. You can check out the specs on Ebonite.com....BTW, this is the same ball Jason Couch won with the last two weeks, as well as 2nd place finisher Patrick Allen, although obviously with different pin placement etc. Just plain nasty!

is it a pearl coverstock??? what lane condition is it good for??? is it good for like medium to heavy oil between the 1st and 2nd arrows on both side and light oil towards the gutter down to about the start of the second dark board or closer then that i cant remeber?

Good for Medium/Heavy Oil - lighter on Outside - typical house shot. It is a Pearl Cover and my house dumps between the 8's and leaves the outside reasonably light with conditioner, but I like keeping around the line at around the 8-board to avoid over-reaction on the outside. Give it a try if you have the chance.
