I have half of the season under my belt since a 5yr break and my average in the beginning was (105) I was using a house ball and one of my buddies Track Xceptions after the first month I picked up BW and to learn how to bowl and now my average is up to 140 and going up. I am looking for a mid to light oil ball and I am wondering what are my choices. I am a low rev second arrow bowler.
Any help would be great
Thanks Nate

I would say the doom or blue vibe would be good choices. It just depends on how you have them drilled....

Like I've said before, if the Vibe was out back when I was looking for a light oil ball, that's what I'd have instead on the RS-1.
I have a question on the Vibes (Blue and Purple). Since I throw a BW drilled #1 (skid/flip), would it be better for me, as far as keeping the same line, to go with the Purple, or can I get the Blue drilled to go long? I like what I read about the Blue, but don't see much at all regarding the Purple.

If you have a good pro shop at your disposal, drilling a blue vibe to go long shouldn't be a problem....I would talk to your driller before buying.

In all honesty, I'll probably wait for the BW Pearl to come out next season. I think my wife has had enough with my current obsession. :) If I don't get my moneys worth out of that RS-1, she may kill me in my sleep with it. Also, after bowling two weeks on these new synthetic lanes, I may not need a light oil ball after all. I've been able to use my BW all three games with minimal movement. I'll know more by the end of this season.

I have both. And by nature the purple is more skid/flip than the blue. So that one would be the better choice to react similar to your BW.

Blue vibe all the way. My buddy has a Blue Vibe and he likes it. It is currently the only ball he has so league is fun. When the shot is fresh it has to have a good amount of revs on it to work but when they start to dry out it works great. With his vibe drilled like it is it works better in the lightest of conditions.
I wish I had synthetic lanes at my center. My lanes dry out fairly quickly. It is only 6 months old so it will not change any time soon.:o

I own the Purple Vibe, my son has the Blue, I think for your situation the Blue Vibe will offer a wider range of conditions for use. Don't get me wrong, I love my original Vibe, my brother just bought one recently too.
