I went to roll off for my Saturday morning juniors league yesterday. My average is a 197 in the league which is the highest in the league. They put me on freshly oiled lanes and i threw some practice balls and none were really that solid. I was using the Black Widow.
The first game i started off with some spares then i caught the right line to play. I started to string a few and i ended up with a 258. In the 10th frame after i threw 1 strike y next shot was in the pocket and i left a 7 pin. That suprised me.
The 2nd game i threw my first ball and it left another 7 pin. I made my adjustment and i ended up with a 228.
My last game i was really hitting the line hard. I started off with a turkey then came light in the pocket and left a 2 10 split. I got one pin out of it. I then threw 7 in a row all burried in the pocket. My final ball was one that just didn't come off my hand right and didn't make it to the pocket. I ended up with my final game as a 264. I really only threw 3 or 4 "bad" balls in he three games. 1 went brooklyn and the others were just light and were outside too much. That is a 750 series and my highest ive ever thrown. Ive had a 711 and a 706 before that.
I went to return my score sheet to the front counter and they told me that that is the highest series ever thrown by a junior in the junior leagues at that house. That got me pretty excited :). To make the night even better i went to the Pittsburgh Penguins game and they beat the Canadiens in an awesome game.
