Okay guys, I have gave a ball a bath before, but I didn't do it correctly(I am sure..) Now I know somebody had a very successful bath w/ their Black Widow and I would like to know exactly how to do it.. Step by step if possible(please, hoping to get done by Sun.)

I used the kitchen sink.
Place ball on drain, after you get some hot water running out of the faucet.
The sprayer is helpful. Wet the ball all sides, try to keep most of the water out of the holes. Drain water.
Grab some dish soap, lather ball, get the water as hot it will go. Rinse the ball. Soaking on track side, drain water. Soaking it non track side, drain. You should have notice oil in water. It just keep soaking rotating the ball, various directions. Get close to thumb and finger holes... top and bottom, side to side.
Always drain water, after you have soaped the ball wipe with good towel, like a microfiber towel. The surafce will start to get tackier. Thats a great sign to go one more time track side and maybe none track side.
Done. Hope this is the detail you wanted.

Sorry for bumping this message.
I red all the thread regarding "giving the balls a bath "
I have only one silly question
How hot the water should be ?
Obiously it is not 200 degrees,
Can you give me a clue about it ?
140? 170? 100 ?
I want to try it and afraid that the water will be too hot and damage the ball somehow .
Thanks

To tell ya the truth, I don't pay attention to that. I let it get as hot as it can.. But, maybe someone else has the proper temp.

I used regular tap water out of the faucet as hot as it gets.
-Use dish soap the first bath. Take out after 10 minutes or so, wipe off
-Drain water and fill with new HOT water (NO SOAP) let soak for 10 minutes wipe off
-Continue with the draining and baths until you do not see a film on the top of the water.

Not silly at all.. If I damaged one of mine I would be VERY upset.

Last time I did it. In the rinse cycle I would only soak for 2 minutes then let it cool for 5 and repeated. I probably had to repeat more times than a 10 minute cycle, but the ball didn't over heat...

I never put ball in sink as drain can scratch the sh!t out of the ball
5 gallon bucket - place ball in bucket - fill to 1 inch over ball with hottest water from faucet
Let soak for 5 minutes - pull ball and immediately wipe with Microfiber towel
Repeat until surface begins feeling tacky and oil residue on top of water clears up
After final soak - clean surface with Ebonite Powerhouse Energizer and microfiber towel
viola - every 25 to 30 games on medium to light oil and every 15 to 20 games on medium to heavy oil and ball will break like new

i think i like this better ^^^
any problem with the finger grips or inserts loosening and breaking up?
anyone tried the car trunk's method?
a friend forgot to remove his ball from his car and when he checked on it, it was wet and dripping with some oil.
can't believe this game...it's like having some babies or pets we need to take care of, clean and bathe...what's next, take the ball to disneyland? :D

I have only had one insert loosen up on me....was at the time where I needed new inserts anyways, so had both replaced.....
I have accidentally left in trunk (this past weekend) and it was pretty wet, but not too bad....I keep my BW pretty clean so only about 10 games of oil in it...

Not suppose to use the drain plug. Never scratched a ball in the Kitchen or Bath Room sink, that wasn't user error. None of them where scratched up bad.
Set your ball on the drain.
