Do you guys/girls like the way the PBA has their match play, best out of 7 wins? I was just checking out the brackets from each round, and in the round of 32, Doug Kent lost 3 to 4 against Chris Johnson, but the thing is, Chris beat Doug by 9, 10 and like 30, they tied 1 game and Chris won the roll off, but when Doug won, he won by 30, 40 and like 155. I think they should all roll 7 games and whoever has the biggest series should move on to the round of 16, 8 and then 4.

Yeah I noticed Doug rolled a big 800 for his last three games and lost. :confused: :eek: Pretty a weird and sucks, that he lost rolling that good.

Over all I'd agree. Maybe a first to 4 wins, but only play six games. The 7th win being total pin fall. Would be a decent compromise, maybe.

I like best out of 7.. I think it is a good way to go, like a playoff..

I like the match play and wish they could do something like it on the TV finals.

The good thing about best of seven is that it's an even playing field for everyone. That means that someone can't just get hot for one or two games and run off with it, they have to be pretty consistant to win four out of seven.....

Still like to see Total Pins come into play, just me.

You know, they could do something like a wild card. The looser with the most pins can come back for a final shot? If this is what your thinking about, I would be interested in seeing something like that.....

yeah and while we're at it let's run this idea past major league baseball and see if they go for it..."world series is now best of 6, if someone wins 4 of the first 6 games you declare them the winner, but if the first 6 games are split 3-3, then we play a 7th game and after that's done we add up all the runs from the entire series and the highest total wins".

seriously, one of the most ridiculous ideas ever suggested on this or any forum.
