Now, I have gotten away from wanting a Wrist Support.. But, it is possible that I want a glove.. Has anybody used them?? From what I heard it delivers the same as a wrist support.. It helps with consistancy of your shots.. Is that true??

Hey BW95,

Not sure if that is the case, but the one that I have has a thick wrist area and does have a great feel on the ball for my pinky and index fingers. I mainly wear it for pinky protection (callus) but I also wear the Robby's Revs III by Ebonite for consistancy and wrist assitance (injury years ago!). I find I have alot more control with both, but can't comment on the glove alone. All the best if you give it a go!! - Chris

I have no injuries or anything, but I do feel if I had some more consistancy I would be much better.. How about this glove: http://www.buddiesproshop.com/product/2385/Ebonite_Pro-Form_Positioner_Glove.htm

That one is similar to what a mate of mine uses and he loves it... mine is a thinner glove with grip on the face.

Will the Robby Original Wrist Support take revs away from me?? I am hoping not, because Brian Graham has always steered me right for bowling equiptment, so I am just wondering..

I wouldn't think it would take any revs away from you. Normal release (with wrist support) should give you more lift and create a very consistant release, but be aware that some people don't like the feel of wrist support and it may take a couple of games to get used to.

I use the orginal Robbies wrist support, when I want less hook.

I had glove with fingers and I cut them off. I like the feel of my fingers on the ball. Now I do not use any glove at all.

I might consider one that set the wrist in a cupped position some day. My wrist is pretty strong. I am concerned that with a support I would develop a weak wrist.
