DO YOU ALL HAVE 1 OR 2,ARROWS,BREAKPOINT OR PINS,REASON ASKING AFTER READING TIPS ON BOWL4FUN ON BREAKPOINT,I HAVE REALLY BEEN TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON WATCHING BALL AND WHERE IT BREAKS,SEEMS I CAN BE MORE CONSISTANT SHOT AFTER SHOT(SOMETIMES).JUST WONDER WHAT EVERYONE ELSE DOES:cool:

A lot of times I think two marks. One at the arrows and one at the 8 board at 40ish feet down the lanes where I was told the break point is at my lanes.
I think that aiming at 1 and being aware of breakpoint (2) helps concentration and increases percentage of good shots.

When I concentrate on my mark (varies) the BW always ends up in the pocket, as soon as I lose that concentration I miss my mark. I use the arrows as a great focal point.

I usually throw at a relative area on the lanes.. I recieved a tip that if you just aim at one mark all day it is going to be very difficult to hit the one mark all the time.. But, if you just try to get the ball out to the relative area of that mark then you will do better..
I hope that makes sense..

try and hit a 3 board area down the lane at the breakpoint

Two, arrows and breakpoint, only worry about arrows on a good ball the breakpoint takes care of it self. It just lets me read the lanes to know what area I have.

Same here, always use arrows as focal point. I also watch the second mark futher down the lane for the breakpoint...

"Ditto" for me: I use the arrows. When I start missing my mark, I focus more on the break point.
Personally, it's difficult for me to try to focus on both at the same time. I've found that when I use a good release and ball speed I increase the margin of error, so focusing on both the breakpoint and arrows doesn't matter as much.

The problem I have had (being a fairly new bowler) is that I find myself moving my feet but can't figure out how to adjust to get the ball down to my breakpoint properly....
I think I have focussed so much on the arrows that I lose site of the breakpoint....does anyone have any suggestions on how to use the arrows to get a good line to the breakpoint..
I have tried for every 2 boards feet moving 1 board aim....seems that I still find myself getting too far outside at my breakpoint though..

I would suggest reading the article about break points on the BOWL4FUN site (I believe there are a total of 3 articles). You have to visually pay attention to what your ball does when it reaches the last 20 ft of the lane. Also (depending on the lane conditions - i.e., the amount of oil), make sure you're aligning your body such that you're able to reach the breakpoint at the proper angle, and with the proper speed on the ball.
Good luck!
