Man I probably bowled the worst series of my life...

Wed. night mixed league...threw 158, 150, and 128. :(

Every thing about every thing felt wrong wrong wrong....

And it wasn't just me, we have some REALLY good bowlers in that league, and I think the high game of the night may have been a 230 or something...it was terrible...

There are nights that I can be waist deep in the pocket and shoot 550 or even less for the set. the house that I bowl in is not a easy house, nor is it tough....unless you are playing on lanes 1 and 2. both lanes play as if a texas flood was put out on them. I did manage a 609 on wednesday night on lanes 1 and 2. the carry was alright I guess, as far as bad sets. Everyone has them the only thing you can do is put it behind you and move on from it. Even my boss who is a 230+ avg has bad nights where he does not even shoot 550 beleive me, a bad set can hit anyone at anytime. Just move on and look forward to the next set that's all you can do.

Nothing to worry about man.. Everyone has bad sets, you'll pull through with no problem!! Remember, if you let it get you down, it will keep you down..

Let me make you feel better, had our country cup practice against another city's team and my 4 game series... 541!!!!! :confused: Had a great start and thought "you beauty, gonna be a great day" and down hill from there... 192, 127, 128 and wait for it... 94!!!!!!! SH*T!!! Lanes died and I couldn't do ANYTHING... Afterwards we had a barbeque and a few drinks!!! (read few as alot for me!)

We went back to bowl for our regular Sunday night league and, half p*ssed, I had a 516 series, 171, 167, 178. Back to around average, even with the lanes broken down, and half a skin full!! I did switch to my Pink Hammer:o and went old straight up the guts, it hooked a mile and hit like a brick (left some tens though)... but I just don't understand how you can do nothing wrong one night and nothing right the next???

Will post tonights series later. Hope that makes you feel a little better!!! Doesn't make me feel any better:( at all... but there you go.

I forgot to mention the one highlight of the night was picking up either a 6-7 split or a 7-9...cant remember which...either way I got a big yell for that one! ;)

I bowled a 499 on Friday. Worst series in I can't remember how long. I definitely feel your pain.

After last night, I'm not at all disappointed that the Tuesday league I'm in is folding (final night last night),,,, in the house that made the dreaded Exxon Valdez dumping famous.... The pair I was on must have gotten all of the oil for the entire house, worst I've ever seen,,, Black Widow wouldn't move, Hawg wouldn't move, the TUFF wouldn't even roll,,, even when "pussied" them down the lane-----straight as an arrow.
