Need more revs

What is the key to getting more revs on the ball? I have been srtuggling lately
getting revs on my black widow. Any suggestions?

Hard to say why you aren't getting the rev's you want without seeing you bowl. In general, to get more rev's on the ball you need to keep your hand behind the ball and fingers below the midline. Hold this positon until the thumb releases and rotate your hand up and thru the shot like your extending your hand for a hand shake. Varying the position of hand between directly behind the ball to on the side of the ball will will change the amount of rev's you get, plus change the break point on your ball. Releasing the ball with you fingers above the midline will also reduce rev's

rotating your hand during the release is nice if all you want is some side rotation. But if you want more revs on the ball, it will come from your fingers. Think of pulling the inserts out of the ball as you release it.

is it really really important that you have revs? truely? it may look good, but you are going to modifiy your shot just because you want more hook?

Thanks for all the advise. I would like to get more revs due to my widow not getting enough hook at the end of my shot.

lol k, well you can always do other things to get your widow to hook more without even changing a thing in your shot

sand the black widow up 1000 grit to give it more traction going down the lane

Mine is at 1000-Grit and is working like a charm!!

First of all, some people arent crankers that can throw a ton of revs. For a black widow you shouldnt have to really crank it you should be fine just dont play as far out as others play more direct.
