What is the best way to clean this ball ? I know it is a particle ball, I would like to try to keep it looking like a new one ( or close to it ), plus keep it acting the same way all the time.

In my oppinion, and this applies to all ball types, just by some generic store brand Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol + water). It is VERY cheap, takes the oil out great and DOES NOT harm the ball in the slightest.
Oh yeah, wipe your ball during game play and remember to clean your ball with some type of cleaner after your done bowling and before you put back in your bag. That will keep your bag clean and keep oil from setting in your ball, also you'll have a fresh ball when you pull it out the next time.

I do own a big blue and you're right it does get dirty and absorbs a lot of oil... so constant cleaning is needed to keep it performing at it's best.
After every shot I use Ebonite's Powerhouse oil free towel...
After every set (3-4 games) I use Powerhouse Energizer/Cleaner
I have a friend who uses hand sanitizer... the ball gets really tacky and clean... it works for him... and the ball smells good too...

Hmmm, Gatch, your friend may be playing illegally. Most hand sanitizers contain Ethyl Alcohol and/or acetate. These are illegal because they can litererally soften the ball surface, making it lower than the legal limit of ball hardness or they have contaminates that give the ball more bite. Although it is perfectly legal to use before you start league or any time after, just NOT during play (between frames or games). But i guess if he's playing a non-sanctioned league there are no rules to break. :) ........WIZ

Shellite is a solvent made up of paraffins and napthenes, n-hexane, aromatics and benzene (sort of like turpantine, thinner, or mineral spirits). It is highly flammable. Other than being dangerous near flames and toxic, I don't think it will harm your ball, not sure though. Though it is not permitted during ABC (American Bowling Congress) league/tournament play, it will clean out the oil.
