Last year a guy on my team had a Shock and Awe, at the time that was the most hooking polished ball I had ever seen!

neone have info on how awesome revs compares to awesome finish????and comparable to no mercy????
thanks
For in depth Morich information you should read the Morich section over at Balls reviews. That said, I haven't seen a review of the finish on any of the boards I read.
If I were to compare a Morich ball to the NM it would be the Awesome Hook. Both are strong reactives that hook in oil. I don't own either so I really can't comment.

thanks guys
i found the awesome revs for 129.99 and was thinkin maybe ill buy it and

awesome finish (polished = possibly go too long????)
thanks a lot

the revs is a particle pearl,
the finish is a polished reactive and
the nm is a sanded (matte) reactive
again if I were to compare the NM to a Morich ball, it would be the Awesome Hook.
Hammer and Morich both make premium balls that hit and carry well. I'm sure you'll be happy with either, this is a Hammer board so most people here, myself included will advise you to get a Hammer. If you want an oiler look at the NM or HZ.
I have Hammer and Mo in my arsenal because they give me a different look.
The question is what do you want this ball to do? What other balls do you have?

thats my problem:
the no mercy is my ONLY ball....
(i shot 268 monday nite then 201 and then like 160 sumtin my line was gone and my ball wudnt hook im not sure y but i was pissed off...)
ne way i want a different rolling ball idk how a morich ball rolls...but i consistently bowl at AMF carolina lanes and the lane machines have been messing up l8ly and the oil is whacked....
so the oil usually is medium-fairly heavy...so the no mercy works great but i wanted a new ball so possibly different hook in the oil (ex earlier roll vs. later roll) & from a diff company no offense i love my no mercy
so i thought about morich but not many ppl throw it....
so the awesome revs was recommened to me but the name throws me off cuz i dont use a lot of revs...
so i need help to decide on the ball choice.....
thx

How many boards do you have to adjust between the first and second game? Do you make any moves at all or just throw up the same line over and over?

Dude just from your scoring it seems like you will defiantly want a different look than your No Mercy. I'll bet a toxic would be a great ball for your third game, I'm guessing you might even be able to play your same line.

I have the Hawgzilla and when things dry out I switch to my big block diesel (polished). I would totally recommend getting a polished ball for your second ball.

ok idk how to count boards so ill try to use the dot method
0 0 00 0 0
usually i put my left between middle and first left dot and throw over
or around the second arrow
i want ball different from the no mercy that i can use like 1/2 way thru 2nd game and fully 3rd game
does the awesome revs fit that description????
thx

Well, in that case, all is not lost on your No Mercy in Game 2 and maybe even in game 3. You have to learn how to adjust to get to more oil. Start watching which boards you are lining up on and which board you cross at the arrows. If you're throwing dead on the 2nd arrow and your line starts to dry up, make an adjustment with your feet 2 boards to the left and move your mark in one or 2 boards left. When that line gets too dry, keep moving left. (Or right if you're a lefty) Look for the oil, you just might find it.

Doesn't hurt to start building an arsenal. But it's within your best interest to learn how to bowl a whole series with your current ball. Might make you a better bowler in the long run.
When it comes to drinks and bowling BradM knows what he's talking about!

Ha ha! Thanks, but seriously Banana man, you need to learn to make adjustments. It's all part of becoming a better bowler. You won't see a pro bowler bowling a full game let alone entire series without moving his feet at least a few boards to try and find more oil. Good luck and good bowling!

I remember someone around here posted a conversation they had with their pro shop operator.
"I was thinking about that new ball"
"You need to learn to throw the ones you have"
Short and sweet...LOL
Arsenals are great but you still need a basic level of understanding to use them properly. It's not only about have the right ball, it's knowing when to go to it and how to use it when you make that move.
None of here are trying to discourage you, it's your money buy what you want. But from your recent posts, it seems you need to learn a little more bowling theory. Counting boards is fundamental! Lucky for you there are some great bowlers here, so read, ask questions and you'll learn a lot.

Couldn't agree more with Brad, as usual! Anyways a pro will move up to half the lane between the first game and the third of a set. They only change equipment when the entry angles and/or carry goes away, other then that they will adjust, it is the first step in being a great bowler. Just remember if you are adjusting to locate a new line, always move both your feet as well as your mark in the same direction, otherwise you'll just end up getting lost. The only time you move just one of them is to fine tune your entry angle and length.
