the Blue Vibe is too much ball for dry lanes and that Hammer makes it sound weaker than it is, I have some news for you:

OK, I have three main Hammers that I use. PAIN, Toxic and BV.

I often double shift on Tuesday night, subbing early with fresh oil, then bowling in the next league right after.

I normally start on fresh with the Pain unless I don't like the reaction. If I don't I switch to the Toxic. However, what works best for me is Pain on fresh, Toxic when they start to break down and Vibe late leauge 2nd or 3rd game.

Tonight the Pain and Toxic were too strong after the first game in the late league. I struggled in the second game and switched to the Vibe halfway through.

Game three, I was able to use my normal line (as if in fresh oil), normal ball speed (16.5-17.5 MPH) and I was in the pocket on most shots and bowled a 233.

I have a decent amount of games on the BV now and think that this ball works as advertised. I'm not saying it's a weak ball. It hooks great on dryer lanes. It also hits like a ton of bricks (like a Hammer should) and was a great investment in my game.

Also a great value at under $100. In fact, I got mine NIB (1st condition) 2-3 Top Weight, 3-4" Pin for $49 plus s/h. Drilling costed me $30 plus $10 for inserts and slug.

Its too much for dry lanes for me.. I am a stroker/tweener and thats how I like to throw the ball.. But, I will say, as I was checking it out tonight, it breaks later than my widow, but still stronger than advertised..

Firstly, depending how it is drilled and the player style

This ball does pretty good on a typical house shot even after 2 and sometimes 3 shifts. But have you tried this ball on a 35' flat tournament pattern. Or maybe even a reverse block. Ill bet my polished blue or pink urethane hammer does better. Don’t get me wrong this is a great ball. I even have the purple as well. But there have been more than a few occasions where this ball was too much

Any reactive resin ball is too much ball on really dry conditions

Similar style as me. Mine is drilled to hook a little bit late, but not an extreme drilling by any measure.
