View Full Version : Ball Reaction
I am considering buying the Hammer Razor Blade, and am trying to know as much as possible before I buy it. A friend of mine mentioned that he finds in general Hammer balls tend to have an over-all hook to them, as apposed to a sharp arc. Does anybody have any experience with this? What is the most common reaction that you see?

depends on how drilled also......pin over ring finger will give you length and usually a sharp backend while pin to right of ring (rightees) means the ball will pickup earlier and have more of an arc to its finish. you have to compare apples to apples. you friends opinion is just that an opinion....might be a reason for the smoother approach to the pocket vs the sharp brake.

another thing to consider is being updated. IMO, razor blade is discontinued model. if you want something current, you may wanna try the new kids on the block like Hawg Zilla, No Mercy, BWidow, Toxic, etc..
anyway, good luck with your decision.

so whats wrong with rolling with discounted gear? i have 6 blades? some of them being discounted for 2+ yrs:eek:
Thats why they call me Dr Blade;)
Razor Blade: Biggest heavy hooking ball in oil out of the blades, Big arcing ball or a huge snap if your bowling on heavyish oil and then clean backends. i would reckon getting this ball but i wouldnt really recommend drilling it leverage, stack leverage maybe......
Hope you get the Razor Blade and enjoy it as much as i enjoy using mine
