Well after 24 league games sense the first impressions of the Toxic, I do believe I can now tell more. As stated before pin is under the ring finger due to very short pin, ball gives excellent length with nice sharp turn from about 45 ft. I use 16lb ball on medium oiled lanes (light type oil for easy carry down) backends are bone dry. Here in the Mid-Atlantic spring is coming and as temperatures increase lanes tend to be on the dry side. The toxic has become my benchmark ball, the BW has become a secondary thought. I have learned you must have light to medium oil for the ball to work, if you have heavy oil, the Toxic is not your ball and you must be able to hit some dry before the pins. The carry has been good, keeping pins low as it drives thru. Its not as aggressive as BW and is a perfect complement for drier conditions. Sets have ranged from low of 635 to highs of 778, with majority of scores being in the 680-690 range. If your looking for a ball that will give you a nice snap at the backend to carry out the corners on medium or lighter oil, the Toxic should be top consideration. Given its price point and results that I have gotten from the ball, I find this a great value for the dollar. Just remember this is not a medium heavy to heavy oil ball. Sorry, guys I have not cleaned the ball (except to wipe it out with micro towel) sense I got it and I don't practice so the ball only really has 30 games on it to date (excluding warm up before league bowl). Maybe at the end of season I'll give it more followup, to see if snap continues or dies and if the ball changes at all.

Thanks for keeping us updated. Makes me want a Toxic... I'll just add that to the list of 400 other balls that I "NEED".

I've had my Toxic for about 4-5 months now and the only thing I'd argue is that it's good on drier lanes. Mine tends to overreact on dry lanes and then I switch to the Blue Vibe. It is a great ball for medium lanes. I use mine in the second shift league after only one league has bowled and it works great.

On fresh heavier oil, it's tough to get to hook enough and it does need dry back ends. I have practiced before when the lanes haven't been conditioned and the back ends had lots of oil and not many balls will work under those circumstances anyway.

That's why I want a good nasty particle ball. I want something for the flood or slick backends. I'm thinking about the NM or one of the MoRich balls like Seek and Destroy or WMB.

VERY STRONG BALL FOR OIL IN MY OPINION,FRESH OILED LANES,MED TO HEAVY,NO MERCY,AND IF I MAKE RIGHT ADJUSTMENTS I CAN PLAY ALL 3 GAMES WITH IT:cool:
