well today, I solved one problem. My 10 pin problem is no more. My pink  spare ball is drilled and I threw it to pick every 10 i left. I didnt bowl too well in practice, though. 196, 186, 118, 112 (those last two didnt happen, kay?)

My biggest problem with my ball is revs. I have hardly any. I started to curl the pinkey under and its helped some, but the thumb release just doesnt work. I cant do it. when the ball touches the ground the thumb just doesnt come out, and I even put tape in there to help it. The widespan is right, and my fingertips are right, but my thumb comes out barely before my fingers.
Any help??

You gotta just let go, man... It's hard, but you just have to learn to let the ball fall off your hand.

flatten your wrist and turn the ball at the same time. actually think about about letting the thumb come out first, not by letting go but just smoothly coming off of the hand; straiten the thumb. start from there and then work on the marks. the thumb should come out before the fingers.

When I first was serious about learning to through a hook a friend had me throw a couple without my thumb so you can feel what it is like to stay on your fingers. It was like a switch went off after a couple of shots like that.
