Adding to the Arsenal

I'm looking to add a ball to my No Mercy arsenal. Should I just get the Black Widow, or save a few extra $$$ and get a Toxic, or even a Doom? The save $20 on bb.com ends Sunday and I'd like to take advantage of it.

I love my Widow, but

go to your local pro-shop and talk to a trustworthy pro and he'll help you with the decision...

They can also get you deals, ball and drilling that are close to what you will spend online....

I only buy x-outs and extreme deals online......

i agree with lightning. i ALWAYS buy from a pro-shop. it comes close with drilling and the price of the ball at a shop usually includes drilling anyway. plus its starts a good relationship. as for a ball, I love my widow and I have seen the Toxic in action and it seems very impressive as well.

I would say it would depend on what sort of conditions you bowl on typically. The black widow is great for the medium oil but if you spend a fair amount of time on drier conditions, then something else might be in order but the conditions you see is what I would consider whether you get the ball online or with your pro-shop.

the guy i go to told me that if i buy online and the ball is damaged (i.e. seperated core) most companies online will not replace it free of charge whereaas, if i get it from the proshop i know it came straight from the distributer in Detroit, because he drives there 2wice a week to pick up his own stock.

It all depends on your style....the No Mercy is an all around hooking ball it will suck for dry lanes...that is of course..you polish it :D lol...the Black Widow is a great mellow hooking ball that goes long..its just an all around great ball....the toxic...well that ball is unbelievably great it goes long...hooks great...and hits hard just like a hammer and the doom...it can be drilled to hook...but its kinda of a medium oil ball....if you like shooting the edge for with the doom or pain :)
