Thursday night, took a buddy to my pro to get a new ball. He hasn't bowled in 8+ years and wanted to get back in to it. After lots of choices he drilled a Hawg Wild. With the ball being dropped next year, he got it drilled with fingers and thumb slug for 169!
So last night we go to pick it up.(and my spare ball that I broke both finger holes) After the usual touching up of the thumb, we go downstairs to throw a few. 5minutes later, here come both the owners of the proshop. They watched my bud (and me) throw a few. Then it pretty much turned into a training class for my bud. After the second game they take his ball back upstairs and sanded it to 2000 (i think) and started all over again. Well to make a long story shorter, they spent almost 4 hours with us. Finishing the night, the 4 of us throwing 3 baker style games.
As I've said before, I may pay alittle more for my equipment, but things like last night more than make up for it. On a side note.... called my pro this morning to thank him again, he told me they didn't get done in the shop until somewhere around 1:30.

Good pro shop. When I had my shop, I always believed its those little things, that give you lifetime customers. Too bad not all see it that way.

I wouldn't trade my pro for anything, he is one of the main reasons I am so fond of bowling......by the way, the HW has already been dropped, hammer is about to drop many of their balls along with many of the ebonite, columbia and track models so they can streamline things into having four lines with fewer balls each, everything has been shipped out of San Antonio already up to Kentucky, things will change a little bit. I love the Hawg Wild I have, now is the time to stock up on any of the Hawgs, etc.

I think I use a very good Proshop also. Have absolutely no complaints with his work. He does very good work for me.

Good ones are hard to find... but when you do, it's awesome!
Finished the tournament today 6 something in doubles 7teens in singles. 2133 all events with my hndc. Probably not good enough, but had fun anyhow!
