I broke 200!

I've been trying for about a month now, and finally I got a 205.

Only been bowling for 3 months.

After a few games I got a 258.

It seems like once you break 200, then 300 is the next target.

Wooh hoo. Hope I hit a 300 soon.

yep its great!!! good work. focus more on being consistant with 200's than shooting for the 300. soon you will be able to "see" the lane and consistantly shoot 185-200. thats a great feeling that everytime you pick up a ball you know you're gonna shoot that high. :D

I had a weird game last night....I was hitting the pocket all night but missing easy spares

I bowled a 212 with 9 strikes and 3 opens, no spares...had 2 splits that I could have made then missed the 7 pin badly

I started with 5 in a row and ended with 3 with another mixed in

Got me thinking, when I remember about how I'd bowled 200 numerous times but couldn't crack 600 series, then once I'd crack it I was stoked... but added up 3 games from a tourney in some old record sheets and figured out I'd done it 2 years prior!!!

Congrats! I agree with zombie, focus on getting more consistent with the 200 games then work on the 300. The 300 will just come to you one day.:cool:

Same with me, except i've never bowled one. I have bowled many 200's but have never shot 600. I went today with BB Pearl, shot 244 and a 611, high game and high series, first 600. I was so happy.

Mine was around 201, shot 536 for the set had 300 pins handicap for the tourney. :D Needless to say I won the Regional qualifer, free trip to LV. Place 7th out of 33 there.

Bowled 600 a few months later, against the best team in the league. Needless to say that got me the nickname of highroller! Was house bolwer of the week 2-3 times and league bowler of the week 2-3 times a month. That got be a joke, everybody would start calling my name.

Thanks for all the congrats. Its been a while since I last posted, and I didnt break 300 yet. I think I need to get lessons from a good coach, and get some consistency. Its either in the pocket or to the right. If its too much to the right, I move left... and then end up shooting in the same spot on the right. ????
Or I move right and shoot to the left.

Does this make any sense?
