I have not thrown the No Mercy. I have thrown a HawgZilla and I loved it. I am going to be getting a new ball soon and I too am undecided.:o

unfortunately i haven't had the opportunity to throw either ball. :( I love my BW to death tho but think the next one i pick up will be the Total NV. But truthfully i haven't heard much bad about either the HZ or the NM. Always good talk about those balls from these forums and my center's i bowl at. i think you would most likely be very happy with either of those choices!

I love my hawgzilla.

I throw fairly fast with higher revs. I bowl in wood lanes with a medium-heavy oil for 42 feet. I usually use my hawgzilla for the first game or two it really grooves a nice track for me (and my team mate). Follow up with a less aggressive ball in the later games.

That being said I would love to try throwing a NM looks like a good ball as well...

lol sorry...it hits very very very hard as well i have the number one layout drilling and it goes long and snaps in the pocket with an angular curve. i leave some 9 and 8 pins because the ball is so aggressive but it reads the lanes very good

oh and i see that you say that the BV is too much ball for a dry lane....i agree as i have thrown one as well on dry lane. i would recommend the pure hammer or a crossfire for dry lanes. they both work very well

lol yea i agree i love everything about the total NV but the stupid 9 and 8 pins it leaves. i dont leave many corners with it tho and i can play inside with it which i love because i can pretty much stand anywhere from the middle dot to the very outside and can change my hand position and comes screaming back to the pocket.....it is well worth the money

I have the Hawg Zilla, Black Widow and Total NV and I would like to point out that the Black Widow and total NV are for extremely similar conditions, so much so that I would consider either the HawgZilla or NoMercy just from the standpoint that it helps you cover a wider range of conditions. Really it all depends on the type of conditions you face, most leagues will set up lanes that will suit the BW or NV very well. good luck with whatever you decide to pick up.

Thanks for posting this. As I was reading down this read I started to wonder where the TNV recommendation came from.

NM HZ Infinite/Angular One- heavy oil
BW TNV -medium
